Offenburg, 16 June 2026
On 25 and 26 February 2027, GeoTHERM in Offenburg will celebrate its 20th anniversary. As the leading trade fair and conference for geothermal energy, the event has been bringing together experts from the worlds of science, business and industry for two decades, providing important impetus for the future of sustainable energy generation.
Looking forward to the anniversary edition
The anniversary edition of GeoTHERM promises to be a special trade fair experience, featuring the latest developments in the geothermal industry, innovative technologies, fascinating case studies, and a wide range of opportunities for professional exchange and networking. As usual, the trade fair will be accompanied by the two scientific conferences on shallow and deep geothermal energy. Numerous specialist presentations will shed light on the latest research findings, technical developments and practical case studies.
“Over the past 20 years, GeoTHERM has evolved from a specialist event into one of the leading geothermal platforms. For us, this anniversary is not only an
occasion to look back on an impressive success story, but above all an incentive to continue driving forward the future of sustainable energy supply together with the industry,” says Gabriele Weislogel, Project Manager of GeoTHERM.
A glance at the figures illustrates the significance of the event: GeoTHERM 2026 attracted around 8,600 trade visitors and 302 exhibiting companies from all over the world to Offenburg to network and find out about developments in the geothermal market.
