Offenburg. The ongoing lockdown and the mutation development have resulted in considerable market uncertainties. Messe Offenburg-Ortenau would like to create clarity and the associated planning security for the various trade fair projects. "We had to re-evaluate our portfolio with a realistic view and thus set a reliable course for all partners and customers," explains Messe Managing Director Sandra Kircher.
Depending on the respective product core and resulting event orientation, this has led to the following results: Forst live with Wild & Fisch cannot take place this year. Likewise the Tattoo & kind show as well as the Mitmachmesse balance will not be able to be accomplished.
The international trade fair GeoTHERM will take place as planned on June 24 + 25, now newly in a digital format. "Exhibitors and visitors will move digitally through the exhibition halls and contact each other directly. I am looking forward to breaking new ground and offering the geothermal market an innovative marketplace," emphasizes project manager Anja Kurz. "We are opening up new reaches for our markets and will specifically combine the best of both worlds in the future," division manager Tanja Hartmann underlines the further development.
Likewise, the Berufsinfomesse (BIM) will change its guise to a digital format and take place as planned on May 7 + 8. "It is thus ensured that the Berufsinfomesse as a talent market of the Ortenau also this year brings together companies and applicants," explains project manager Alexander Fritz. "BIM rethink was the focus of development and we are happy and proud to be able to offer the region a suitable platform," summarizes the Chairman of the Management Board of the Employment Agency Horst Sahrbacher the importance of BIM for the region.
